As Freddie Johnson—a true legend in the whiskey world—once said:

The Flagship & Friends: Where It All Begins
Our Flagship Bourbon is the foundation of it all—smooth, full-bodied, and aged to perfection. With classic notes of caramel, toasted oak, and vanilla, it’s the kind of pour that brings people back to bourbon’s roots. It’s handcrafted, honest, and effortlessly shareable—whether neat, on the rocks, or stirred into something special.
Surrounding our flagship are several standout companions:
- Colorado Gold – a blended American whiskey with easygoing charm and plenty of personality.
- Wheated Bourbon – Our limited release 4 Year Wheated Bourbon is a softer, fuller take on our flagship, adding notes of milk chocolate, honey, red berries, and toasted nuts.
- High Rye Bourbon – spice-forward and silky-smooth and at 5 years of age, you’ll get a beautifully developed flavor palette that includes notes of spiced walnut, lemongrass, cocktail cherry, and lemon custard. This is a damn good 3-grain Whiskey!
- 6-Year Cask Strength Single Barrel – a rotating collector series for those who seek out bold, barrel-aged perfection. Our Master Blender selects only the barrels with the richest character—sometimes serenading them under the Colorado moonlight. Each cask-strength release (104–111 proof) is a unique expression of grain, wood, craftsmanship, and nature.
- 3-Year Straight Bourbon – young, but packed with flavor: soft notes of crème brûlée, toasted pecans, vanilla frosting, ripe stone fruit, and honeycomb. A vibrant, budget-friendly local favorite that punches above its age.
Each expression is a unique fingerprint, designed to reflect the best of Colorado craft.
Crafted to Be Shared: Limited Releases That Tell a Story
We don’t just experiment for fun—we experiment for flavor. Our limited releases showcase our wild side, with wood, barrels, and infusions that push whiskey forward while staying rooted in authenticity.
- 3-WAY – Aged in barrels previously used for cinnamon whiskey, vanilla extract, and maple syrup. It’s natural, bold, and perfect in a cocktail, dessert, or straight up on a rock.
- Plumwood – An earthy, smoky whiskey with a cult following, originally inspired by homegrown aging on Colorado plumwood branches.
- Acacia Double Barrel (Tasting Room Only) – Finished in toasted acacia wood and bottled at cask strength, with luxurious notes of honey, creme brulee, and white chocolate.
- Le Meilleur (Cognac-Finished Bourbon, Tasting Room Only) – A cask-strength single barrel aged in fresh Cognac casks with notes of molasses, raisins, thyme, and royal icing.
- Tawny Port-Finished Bourbon (Tasting Room Only)– Our oldest finished release yet, rich with dessert wine decadence and bursting with strawberry shortcake, dried fruit, and almond.
- Peppercorn Peas (Tasting Room Only)– A daring creation featuring field peas and hand-crushed white, pink, and green peppercorns—earthy, spicy, and unforgettable.
- Fire Pepper Kissed (Tasting Room Only)– For the bold. Finished in barrels that held emulsified hot peppers, this release brings real heat with layers of caramelized spice and salted vanilla.
- Brewers Select #1 (Tasting Room Only) – Our first beer-barrel-aged release, this collab with Peak View Brewing reuses barrels from their Imperial Peanut Butter Porter to finish our Flagship Bourbon. After 17 months, the result is a smooth, decadent pour with notes of toasted coconut, peanut butter, vanilla custard, coffee, and orange zest—a rich, evolving sip you’ll only find at the tasting room.
Each bottle is made to be opened, poured, and passed around. Because that’s where the magic happens.
VIP Spotlight: Shaded Grove Single Barrel 1(Tasting Room Only)
This one’s for the insiders.
The Shaded Grove is the exclusive name of our VIP membership circle—whiskey lovers who go beyond the bottle and into the barrel. For their inaugural pick, our members sampled multiple barrels at the distillery and unanimously chose Barrel 19-0106 to be released as a one-of-a-kind single barrel, cask strength bourbon.
Aged for 5 years and bottled at 52% ABV, Shaded Grove Single Barrel 1 offers a beautiful harmony of richness and maturity with tasting notes of banana bread, cherries, toffee peanuts, dark chocolate, dried fruit, and baking spices. It’s a true reflection of what we believe whiskey should be—crafted by hand, chosen by community, and meant to be remembered.
